Job Description:
Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Manager Business Applications Driving strategic planning and aligning organizational priorities with business goals; streamlining the delivery process and managing optimal resource allocation across different mission critical projects; Managing the delivery of start of the art Network Operation Command Center (NOCC) data visualizations at Akamai Cambridge office, ensuring timely delivery and alignment according to the organizational objectives; Steering the Oracle Migration program, which helps the organization delivery improved database scalability, performance and reliability while minimizing the risks and disruption to business operations; preparing insightful reports and metrics to help the leadership in taking key decisions; and Implementing policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements. Required Qualification:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.  
Must have: Three (3) years of experience with the following: CI/CD Pipelines; Automation tools such as Ansible; Jira, Jenkins, and Github; SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall; Network security tools and technologies; monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Splunk; Change management; Conducting sprint ceremonies and project reviews; and Modernizing in-house systems. 
Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering., plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $151778-$210600 /year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
