OVERVIEWThe Manager, Principal Consultants is a delivery leadership role responsible for managing and developing the Principal Consultant team within GPS CareSolutions. Principal Consultants represent the most senior practitioner tier in the GuidingCare® implementation practice, serving as functional authorities, client advisors and delivery anchors on complex, high-visibility payer engagements. This manager role exists to provide dedicated leadership, performance oversight and career development to this high-impact team.The ideal candidate steps into this role having demonstrated consistent delivery excellence, strong cross-functional influence and a natural aptitude for mentoring and coordinating senior delivery talent. They bring deep GuidingCare® implementation expertise across data integration, business analysis and client engagement – positioning them to lead and elevate the Principal Consultant practice.

ABOUT GUIDINGCARE®GuidingCare® is HealthEdge's industry-leading care management platform, purpose-built for healthcare payers. Implementations span care management, utilization management, appeals and grievances, data integration and population health programs. The Principal Consultant team serves as the senior-most delivery resource on the most complex and strategically consequential client engagements within the GPS CareSolutions portfolio.

YOUR IMPACT• Manage and develop a team of four Principal Consultants, providing performance coaching, career growth support and day-to-day leadership for senior practitioners across the GuidingCare® implementation practice• Serve as the organizational point of accountability for Principal Consultant delivery quality, capacity utilization and client engagement standards• Coordinate Principal Consultant assignments across active engagements, ensuring optimal alignment between practitioner expertise and client needs• Partner with Directors, Delivery Managers and Project Managers to deploy Principal Consultants on the highest-complexity, highest-risk implementation workstreams• Drive practice development within the Principal Consultant team – establishing delivery standards, knowledge-sharing forums and implementation best practices• Support pre-sales and scoping efforts by deploying Principal Consultants in client discovery, requirements workshops and SOW development activities• Mentor and develop direct reports through structured 1:1s, growth planning conversations and stretch assignment opportunities• Serve as an escalation resource and senior functional authority for complex delivery challenges across GuidingCare® implementations• Contribute to hiring, onboarding and capability assessment of incoming Principal Consultants to ensure the team maintains the depth and breadth required by the delivery portfolio• Represent the Principal Consultant practice in organizational planning, delivery governance and leadership alignment forums• Identify gaps in practice methodology and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen delivery predictability and client satisfaction• Maintain visibility into Principal Consultant workload, engagement health and individual career progression, escalating risks proactively to GPS delivery leadership

WHAT YOU BRING• 8+ years of experience in healthcare technology delivery, with significant tenure in GuidingCare® implementations spanning care management, UM, A&G and data integration domains

4+ years of supervisory experience


Geographic Responsibility:  Remote US

Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent 

Travel%: Up to 25% for client engagements and team leadership activities

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $141,000 to $151,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
