As Manager, Global Strategy – Corn and Clean Label Texture Solutions, you will help shape the global portfolio strategy for Ingredion’s largest Texture Solutions platform. This global role translates customer needs, market trends, and financial insights into portfolio priorities, investment roadmaps, and growth opportunities across regions.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Product Portfolio, Corn and Clean Label Texture Solutions.

What you will do:

Strategy & Growth Leadership

  • Shape strategic recommendations by synthesizing market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, portfolio performance, and financial analysis into clear growth priorities.
  • Lead executive-ready portfolio reviews, business cases, and decision materials that simplify complex strategic and technical topics into actionable recommendations.
  • Mobilize global and regional teams across Commercial, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Pricing, and Product Line Management to execute scalable growth initiatives.
  • Influence senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization to build alignment, remove barriers, and drive disciplined execution.

Commercial & Market Leadership

  • Develop market insights, competitive intelligence, and go-to-market strategies that strengthen portfolio positioning and accelerate growth in priority markets.
  • Serve as global subject matter expert for key portfolios, equipping regional teams with value propositions, pricing guidance, customer engagement tools, and portfolio narratives.
  • Translate customer needs, SFDC pipeline insights, and voice-of-customer input into portfolio opportunities, business development priorities, and innovation pathways.
  • Build commercial capability through workshops, tools, best-practice sharing, and improved pipeline visibility to enable consistent execution and value capture.

Governance, Portfolio Ownership & Performance

  • Monitor portfolio performance, profitability, and mix, partnering with Pricing COE and regional Product Line Managers to support value capture and margin discipline.
  • Lead strategic planning inputs, portfolio reviews, and executive-level reporting.
  • Support portfolio lifecycle management, including NPD, SKU optimization, and discontinuation decisions, in coordination with PLM teams.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking or industry experience in strategy, portfolio management, or business development.
  • Food, ingredients, or specialty chemicals industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial, strategic, and commercial acumen, with experience turning insights into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence in a global, matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel regionally and/or globally 10–20% of the time.
  • Written and spoken English fluency.

Pay Range:

$123,500.00-$164,700.00 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
