MISSION STATEMENT

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Manager of Marketing Operations to optimize communication, processes, and tools that drive efficiency across our marketing and sales teams. This role will be responsible for implementing workflows that streamline cross-functional collaboration, managing timelines in partnership with the innovation team, and ensuring the necessary marketing tools are in place to support new product launches. Additionally, this individual will lead strategic sourcing initiatives such as swag, in-store tools, and asset management systems, and will be critical in managing our eCommerce presence.  The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to translate marketing strategies into operational excellence. 

CORE JOB DUTIES 

  • Extend brand marketing strategies across multiple markets, ensuring adaptation to state-specific requirements. 
  • Ensure all marketing materials comply with state regulations. 
  • Build and maintain marketing material sources of truth and playbooks for efficient distribution. 
  • Build, maintain, and optimize a centralized creative asset database for field teams and dispensaries. 
  • Lead the internal marketing communications platform, acting as the primary liaison between brand, sales, and region marketing teams to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Innovation and Operations project managers. 
  • Identify and manage strategic partners to support marketing initiatives, including swag and merchandising. 
  • Oversee vendor relationships for swag, technology, and creative services. 
  • Execute eCommerce strategies, manage vendor relationships, and optimize digital platforms for enhanced performance. 
  • Improve marketing workflows, streamline approval processes, and enhance compliance tracking for operational efficiency. 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS  

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, brand marketing, or related field. 
  • Track record of managing cross-functional teams and coordinating between brand marketing and sales.  
  • Experience overseeing vendor relationships, including creative agencies and marketing tool production partners. 
  • Hands-on experience managing marketing asset databases and workflow tools. 
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms and digital marketing operations. 
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, including asset management systems and workflow tools. 
  • Understanding of compliance and regulatory considerations in marketing execution. 
  • Ability to build process in environments with minimal existing structure. 
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills are required.  
  • Strong communication skills (exceptional listening skills, persuasive and professional communicator) is are required. 
  • Drives vision and purpose to rally action, support and optimism for the future of the business.  
  • Entrepreneurial and team-oriented spirit.  
  • Acts with a clear sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining attention to detail.  
  • Genuine interest in and passion for the cannabis industry is required.

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Pay Range

$75,000$112,000 USD
