- Lead, coach, and develop a team of project managers by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and driving accountability for delivery outcomes and professional growth.

- Own project assignment decisions, align resources to project needs and priorities, and balance workloads to support delivery effectiveness and utilization.
- Oversee portfolio delivery against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and defined client and business outcomes.
- Monitor portfolio health, capacity, financial performance, risks, gaps, and opportunities, including revenue, margin, and delivery costs.
- Ensure project data, reporting, and documentation are accurate, complete, timely, consistent, and audit-ready across Adaptive Work and other required tools and templates.
- Provide consolidated portfolio reporting and executive-level insights that support informed decision-making and proactive risk management.
- Define and manage escalation processes, ensuring risks and issues are identified early, documented clearly, assigned appropriately, and driven to resolution.
- Partner with Sales and Professional Services during pre-delivery phases to align project scope, assumptions, and delivery plans.
- Guide project managers through blockers and complex cross-functional delivery challenges while reinforcing disciplined execution and follow-through.
- Ensure requirements are defined, aligned, traceable, and validated throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure appropriate project assurance and quality practices are applied, including reviews and validation to confirm delivery remains on track.
- Ensure projects are effectively closed, including completion of documentation, transition to business-as-usual operations, and capture of lessons learned.
- Drive adoption of standard tools, templates, methodologies, governance, and reporting practices across the team.
- Identify and implement improvements that enhance the scalability, consistency, and effectiveness of the PMO, and share best practices and lessons learned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Project or Program Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project or program management, including experience leading teams or managing project portfolios.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, drive accountability, and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Professional Services, Sales, Product, and other internal stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
- Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, concise, and professional updates, escalations, and portfolio insights to senior leadership.
- Experience with project management and reporting tools such as Adaptive Work, JIRA, or similar platforms, with a focus on reporting consistency, data accuracy, and portfolio visibility.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex risks and escalations, maintain appropriate documentation, and drive resolution across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including the ability to build relationships and lead across teams without direct authority.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on clarity, professionalism, and executive presence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and judgment skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience in Financial Crime Compliance, risk, or financial services industries is preferred.
- Experience with Adaptive Work, JIRA, and reporting tools is strongly preferred.
