The Manager of Global Strategy for Mars Snacking will support the development and deployment of our global strategies, playing a key role in supporting the long-term growth and value creation journey of the company. This highly visible position, reporting to the Director of Global Strategy and working in close coordination with the Mars Snacking Leadership Team, will be filled by a candidate with exceptional drive and energy, who has strong analytical skills, the ability to turn data into insights, and highly effective verbal and written communications skills.
What are we looking for?2+ years experience in global corporate strategy or strategy consulting at a top tier firm (with strong preference for CPG industry experience)
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to sift through large amounts of data, structure and conduct thoughtful analyses, identify insights and arrive at business recommendations
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize and clearly communicate complex findings through focus on critical issues and actionable opportunities
Extensive experience in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel required
Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect, with peers, team members, and executives
Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or related field preferred
Passion for consumer goods and our brands
Drive our competitive intelligence and benchmarking work. Work in close collaboration with our regional teams and conduct desk research and data analysis
Execute on internal projects across a myriad of critical business issues to help deliver on our global strategy. Work with a broad range of stakeholders to define the key questions that need to be answered, develop a plan and approach to solve, and execute against the plan to deliver results
Assist in our efforts to communicate our challenges, strengths, and performance to senior stakeholders (C-suite / Board) via thoughtful, compelling, and polished presentations
Support our 3-year strategic planning process through coordinating and pressure-testing our region, market, and category plans. Leverage future-back thinking to highlight breakthrough ideas and concepts to enable our ongoing strategy development

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, if eligible, including variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Eligibility for these additional elements depend on the position offered and the employee’s work schedule (i.e., part-time schedule, store associate).
