About the role:

As a Strategy & Operations (S&O) Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping Enova's strategic direction and optimizing business performance. You will actively support new business initiatives (organic and inorganic) by conducting in-depth market studies, building robust business models, and managing acquisitions or business start-ups. You'll partner closely with cross-functional leadership to drive key strategic initiatives, budgeting, and financial planning. This role requires a high degree of collaboration with other teams and offers a strong path to further leadership roles at Enova.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive market studies and competitive landscape analyses to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential targets.
  • Build and manage complex business models to evaluate corporate M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and new product lines or businesses.
  • Support the leadership team in developing comprehensive business strategies and collaborating with marketing, operations, finance, and other teams to ensure execution.
  • Participate in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in planning for and supporting business integration or new business start-up projects.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track business performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in managing business risks, evaluating operational efficiencies, and implementing effective monitoring and auditing.
  • Collaborate in mentoring team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Leverage strong communication skills to present findings and influence senior-level stakeholders through compelling, data-driven storytelling.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (strategy, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, or operations strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market studies and modeling businesses in support of corporate M&A.
  • Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into existing businesses or start-up activities for a new business.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic insights.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, motivate cross-functional teams, and drive performance to achieve and exceed business targets.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and driving continuous improvement.

The budgeted annual salary range for this position is $115,000 to $165,000. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a [bonus] and [restricted stock units]. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
