About this job

We are seeking a bold, sales-driven leader to own NIQ’s commercial strategy for a major strategic retailer and serve as a member of the North America Leadership Team. This role is accountable for revenue growth, executive engagement, and sales excellence, orchestrating NIQ’s portfolio to deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep retail experience (Amazon preferred), understands AI-driven solutions, and excels at building C-level relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Own P&L for the strategic retailer segment; deliver annual and multi-year sales targets through renewals, expansions, and new solutions.
  • Lead Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute joint business plans aligned to retailer priorities; identify whitespace and competitive displacement opportunities.
  • Executive Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (C-suite, VP Sales, Merchandising, Tech).
  • Sales Enablement & Transformation: Champion NIQ’s modern sales tools (e.g., Sales Hub), pricing discipline, and pipeline rigor; ensure accurate forecasting and governance.
  • AI & Data Solutions: Position NIQ’s applied AI capabilities and consultative approach to unlock new value streams for the retailer.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and coach a high-performing sales team; foster accountability, collaboration, and a winning mindset.

Thought Leadership: Represent NIQ at industry forums; deliver insights that influence retailer strategy and category growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in enterprise sales leadership, consulting, or commercial roles in retail/CPG; experience with strategic retailers and Amazon highly desirable.
  • Proven success managing $MM portfolios, complex negotiations, and multi-stakeholder contracting.
  • Strong AI/data fluency and ability to translate technical solutions into business impact.
  • Exceptional executive presence and influencing skills.
  • Track record of sales transformation and adoption of modern CRM tools (e.g., Sales Hub).
  • Ability to lead matrixed teams and drive cross-functional alignment.

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $167,000.00 - $331,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might IS eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
