We are seeking a dynamic Margin Analyst with experience aligning multiple functional areas within a complex financial organization and driving forward strategic initiatives with a focus on margin management including the replication, tooling & reporting associated with margin.

Key Responsibilities:

Margin Terms Management:

Provide centralized oversight and coordination of margin replication in conjunction with other treasury members.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to align DRW systems, driving organizational goals in modeling margin terms. This may involve system enhancements and product models.

Strategic Goals:

Drive strategic goals through improved margin calibration:

  • Enhance treasury offerings to the Front Office (FO) and Treasury around margin management via treasury sponsored applications.
  • Implement Asset Liability Management (ALM) optimization for various asset classes (Futures & Options, Equity, Fixed Income).
  • Develop what-if tools to illustrate the incremental increase or reduction the FO will observe via various trading scenarios.
  • Enrich reporting capabilities to identify margin saving opportunities across a diverse set of asset classes.

Collateral Management & Reporting:

Collaborate with the cash and collateral team to enhance the collateral management framework.

Improve management reporting, including liquidity and working capital updates.

Incorporate margin modeling into stress testing efforts.

Contract Negotiation:

Negotiate contracts as needed, including those related to Prime Brokerage, OTC, and other agreements.

Business Line Coverage:

Provide complementary coverage for a diverse set of business lines from a portfolio finance perspective.

Ancillary Support:

Offer support to the cash and collateral team, focusing on gaining system and organizational knowledge to further strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience working in capital markets.
  • Foundational understanding of different asset classes and their associated financing markets/structures.
  • Proficiency in engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders across various organizational levels.
  • Effective project management skills, including experience leading or participating in enterprise-level efforts.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Suite applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, or VBA is preferred but not required.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • SIE and Series 99 preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000, depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set.
