Who We Need


To support our continued growth, we seek a strong sales professional to assist Netrality’s expanding Business Development team. The Market Development Specialist will be focused on active outreach to prospective customers, soliciting new customer contracts, campaign development, and providing direct support to the greater sales team. The successful candidate will cultivate the ongoing development of prospective customer relationships to ensure that the team is able to meet its growth targets.


Netrality is a close-knit team of A-players. This is a new position, and an opportunity for the right person to establish efficiencies and best practices enterprise-wide, with the potential for growth of the function over time.


Description of Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales activity on meet me room and colocation products
  • Solicit new customer contracts
  • Source and develop new client relationships
  • Maintain record of all sales and prospecting activity
  • Communicate effectively with management and other peers
  • Assist in completing sales projects including proposals and marketing activity as needed
  • Address customer inquiries, coordinate site tours, and generate price quotes
  • Conduct regular customer review calls and follow up as necessary
  • Develop new customer relationships and work with all personnel and outside contacts to satisfy customer needs
  • Represent company in a positive and professional manner
  • Provide ad-hoc support as needed to sales team and participation in projects as assigned

Position Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1-3 years of recent sales experience required; experience in the technology or telecom industries preferred
  • Be a detail-oriented problem solver with a win-win attitude, working towards meaningful solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a desire to learn and grow, take initiative, and embrace a team environment
  • Experience working independently as well as collaboratively; effectively managing priorities while meeting hard deadlines
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and CRMs
  • Self-motivated initiative taker with relentless pursuit of new customers and prospects
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with ease
  • Highest ethical and professional conduct and integrity
  • Adhere to all guidelines and expectations set forth in company’s corporate handbook
