What You Can Expect

  • Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact with key on-premise account groups, covering the entire Brown-Forman portfolio of brands.

  • Create Impact: Design, develop, and implement key customer focused win-win initiatives that enhance Brown-Forman and customer profitability. 

  • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture positive customer rapport at all levels across Illinois. 

  • Drive Success: Conduct business performance reviews with the distributor leadership to achieve state plans.

  • Collaborate: Partner with Brown-Forman National Account Teams and Regional Distributor Account Team to ensure flawless execution of Independent and Chain programs.

  • Innovate: Work with the Brown-Forman teams to communicate cutting-edge programs and execution plans to distributors and customers.

  • Champion Brands: Develop and execute on-premise brand-building plans in collaboration with distributors in Illinois.

  • Win at Point of Purchase: Champion the on-premise effort at the point of purchase, ensuring superior distributor execution of brand initiatives.

  • Connect: Engage with and influence key external contacts, including distributor partners, retailers, consumers, and agencies.

Planning & Analysis:

  • Strategize: Lead on-premise teams to gather local market feedback for specific brand plans, setting clear objectives and priorities.

  • Agility: Coordinate communication of plan adjustments based on market performance and success.

  • Manage Budgets: Manage budget responsibilities to drive financial success.

Distributor & Agency Management:

  • Activate Programs: Develop and ensure the proper activation of all on-premise programs.

  • Lead Initiatives: Oversee the execution of on-premise pull programming and all branded initiatives.

  • Implement Plans: Execute the Brown-Forman business plan with the on-premise team, holding them accountable for results.

  • Manage Agencies: Oversee third-party promotion agencies for on-premise, ensuring alignment with Brown-Forman business and brand plans.

  • Be the Key Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact with key on-premise account groups, covering the entire Brown-Forman portfolio of brands.

What Makes You Unique

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record of meeting key metrics and a strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers.

  • Coaching: Strong coaching and sales training skills.

  • Partnership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with leaders across various channels, functions, and geographies.

  • Enterprise Mindset: Able to prioritize the overall Brown-Forman business needs above specific territory or team needs.

  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required, with a valid state driver’s license and the capability to lift 60 pounds. Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software. 

Pay

The base pay salary will be $87,000 - $93,000 plus a 10% cost of labor allowance bringing the range of pay to $95,700 - $102,300 paid semi-monthly plus a 25% bonus. The 25% bonus will be calculated off the base pay and cost of labor allowance paid annually contingent on performance of the company and individual.
