Position Summary:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports Crossing Healthcare’s marketing, communications, community engagement, and employee engagement efforts. The position develops content and awareness campaigns that promote health services and programs, strengthen brand recognition, increase community visibility, and support patient acquisition and service-line growth. Responsibilities include social media, website content, graphic design, outreach and events, the Speakers Bureau, marketing materials, content development, and support of Employee Engagement Committee activities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No direct supervisory responsibilities. May provide coordination and functional direction to staff or Speakers Bureau members for outreach events and assigned projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and support awareness campaigns by creating marketing and communication materials, including flyers, brochures, social media graphics, press releases, patient education materials, signage, presentations, newsletters, and other public-facing content promoting Crossing Healthcare services, programs, events, and community initiatives.
- Develop, schedule, and publish social media content and maintain a content calendar aligned with organizational priorities and health awareness campaigns.
- Manage routine website content and coordinate updates, new pages, photos, and changes with the website host/developer; maintain other digital communication channels such as social media and lobby displays.
- Research and coordinate community outreach opportunities, including health fairs and school events; complete registrations, coordinate staffing and logistics, and support activities that increase awareness of Crossing Healthcare services.
- Prepare and organize outreach materials, supplies, and event details for community events and Speakers Bureau activities, including educational materials, giveaways, displays, signage, scheduling, staff participation, orientation, and other logistical needs; represent Crossing Healthcare at events as needed, including occasional events outside normal business hours.
- Track marketing, outreach, social media, event participation, and patient/community feedback, including survey results, to support brand recognition, patient acquisition, service-line growth, and future marketing priorities.
- Serve in a leadership and support role on the Employee Engagement Committee, assisting with staff engagement, recognition, appreciation, and culture-building activities.
- Work closely with the Director of Operational Excellence and organizational departments to carry out marketing, communication, brand, and community engagement priorities.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field required.
- Experience with social media management, content development, graphic-design tools, website content management, and community outreach preferred.
- Experience coordinating events, campaigns, vendors, or other marketing initiatives preferred.
- Healthcare, nonprofit, community-based organization, or public-service experience helpful but not required.
- Strong written communication, proofreading, and organizational skills.

- Ability to lift and carry materials and supplies up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel locally on a limited basis for community events and partner activities.
