Job Description

We seek dynamic and motivated interns to join our beer marketing team for the summer of 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brand building, activation, innovation, and/or marketing strategy related to our iconic brands.

As a Marketing Intern, you will work hand in hand with our teams to support various initiatives and projects for our business and connect with consumers in engaging and disruptive ways. You will also complete a strategic and consumer-focused project supporting Constellation’s beer marketing objectives. Interns will work in our downtown Chicago office, and will be assigned to one of the functions within beer marketing: brand marketing, brand activation (retail, experiential, or field), media, or innovation. Successful candidates must be interested in learning how to build brands and consumer-oriented businesses and applying insights into action. You will actively participate and provide perspective on how Constellation can build consumer-oriented brands and expand businesses through innovative thinking while developing a keen understanding of the consumer and strategic marketing plans.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a robust project based on business needs and make recommendations to marketing leadership to exhibit strategic, analytical, creative, and professional skills
  • Research category trends, competitive activity, and marketing caabilities to inform brand-building and innovation activities
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, strategies, and activations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other marketing teams, product development, and sales, to ensure cohesive brand building
  • Work with and manage external agencies who support our marketing and innovation activities
  • Participate in brand business analysis, using internal and external data sources to monitor business performance and provide insights for improvement continuously
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance brand presence

Key Success Factors

  • Passion for understanding drivers of consumer behavior, brand fundamentals, and contemporary culture (i.e., sports, music, food, media, art)
  • Familiarity with modern approaches to brand building and marketing,
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to turn data and information into actionable insights
  • Creative thinker, not intimidated to propose creative innovative ideas to enhance marketing programming, making it more relevant and engaging
  • Strong drive for results with an elevated level of organization
  • Maintains a positive attitude and contributes to positive company culture outside of day-to-day responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Rising Senior year who is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Marketing/Management, or a related field
  • Strong interest across varying fields of marketing and the consumer product goods industry, with a base understanding of marketing function roles and responsibilities
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment in both virtual and in-person form: requiring minimum 2 days in-person at our Beer HQ office in Chicago, IL (Tuesdays + Wednesdays)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods and work on a computer for extended periods. Lifting may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
