ABOUT THE ROLE

Fabio Viviani Hospitality (FVH) is looking for a Marketing Manager who knows how to own a brand, not simply execute a marketing calendar.

This role will serve as the day-to-day marketing lead for a portfolio of restaurant and hospitality brands, managing everything from ongoing brand strategy and digital marketing to menu launches, events, restaurant openings, collateral, local store marketing and guest communications.

Our Marketing Managers work across multiple concepts at the same time, each with its own identity, audience, priorities and operational needs. That requires someone who can see the big picture, stay exceptionally organized and, most importantly, take ownership and move projects forward without waiting for every next step to be assigned.

You will work closely with restaurant operators, chefs, beverage teams, designers, content creators, PR partners, sales teams and outside vendors. Many of the people responsible for executing pieces of your marketing plan will not report directly to you. You must be comfortable leading projects, communicating expectations, managing timelines and following through across departments to ensure the work gets completed.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that restaurant marketing happens both on a screen and inside the four walls of the restaurant.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Brand Management + Strategy

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing lead for assigned restaurant and hospitality brands.
  • Develop and manage individual marketing calendars based on each brand's goals, seasonality, events, menu changes, local market and revenue opportunities.
  • Understand each concept's positioning, guest demographic, competitive landscape, voice and visual identity, and ensure that marketing remains consistent across every guest touchpoint.
  • Identify opportunities rather than simply responding to requests. We expect our Marketing Managers to proactively bring forward ideas, solutions and recommendations for the brands they manage.

Restaurant Openings + Brand Launches

  • Lead the marketing workstream for new restaurant openings, additional locations and major brand initiatives.
  • Build and manage launch timelines across departments and ensure required marketing elements are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate everything from digital presence and guest communications to menus, signage, collateral, photography, events, local marketing and opening campaigns.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify missing pieces, establish ownership and keep projects moving toward opening.

Digital Marketing + Guest Communications

  • Manage the ongoing digital presence of assigned brands across:
    • Social media
    • Email marketing
    • SMS marketing
    • Websites
    • Google Business Profile
    • Yelp and TripAdvisor
    • OpenTable and other reservation platforms
    • Toast and restaurant technology platforms
    • Online menus and third-party listings
    • Guest databases and loyalty programs
    • Local SEO and search visibility
    • Paid and organic digital campaigns
  • Develop campaigns designed to increase awareness, reservations, traffic, guest engagement and revenue.
  • Maintain accurate restaurant information across digital platforms and ensure promotions, menus, hours, events and other guest-facing information remain current.

Local Store Marketing + Traditional Marketing

  • Restaurant marketing doesn't stop at digital.
  • Develop and execute local store marketing initiatives, community partnerships, events, promotions and grassroots opportunities.
  • Manage restaurant collateral including menus, signage, table materials, promotional pieces, event materials and other in-store guest touchpoints.
  • Support seasonal promotions, menu launches, private events, catering initiatives, restaurant activations and community engagement.

Creative + Content Leadership

  • Work directly with FVH's graphic designers, content creators and outside creative partners to execute the marketing needs of your brands.
  • Develop clear creative briefs and provide the information, direction, assets and deadlines necessary for successful execution.
  • Coordinate photography and content needs and ensure each brand maintains a consistent pipeline of relevant, usable creative.
  • Review creative for accuracy, brand consistency and operational readiness before final approval.
  • You do not need to personally design every graphic or shoot every piece of content. You do need to know what your brands need, communicate it clearly and make sure it gets done.

Events + Experiences

  • Develop and market restaurant events, experiences and promotions from concept through execution.
  • Coordinate with Culinary, Beverage, Operations, Sales, PR and restaurant leadership to establish the offer, pricing, guest experience, marketing plan and required collateral.
  • Support grand openings, VIP events, media events, community activations, wine dinners, holiday programming and other restaurant experiences.

Performance + Reporting

  • Monitor brand performance across reservations, campaigns, social engagement, email and SMS, guest databases, digital platforms and other available reporting.
  • Use data to identify opportunities and recommend adjustments rather than simply reporting numbers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly updates highlighting performance, upcoming initiatives, opportunities, challenges and required next steps.
HOW YOU WILL WORK
  • FVH operates in a fast-moving hospitality environment. Priorities can shift quickly, restaurants operate seven days a week, and opportunities do not always happen Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
  • This role offers significant flexibility in how you manage your day and organize your workload, but it is not a traditional 9-to-5 position.
  • Some restaurant visits, openings, events, content shoots and activations will require evening, weekend and holiday availability. Candidates should be comfortable working within the rhythm of the hospitality industry and adjusting their schedule accordingly.
  • The right person will be trusted with considerable autonomy. In return, we expect strong communication, organization, accountability and follow-through.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, with restaurant, hospitality or closely related multi-location experience strongly preferred
  • Experience independently managing multiple brands, locations, accounts or clients simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of both digital and traditional marketing
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Working knowledge of social media, email, SMS, websites, local SEO and digital reputation management
  • Familiarity with restaurant platforms such as OpenTable, Toast, Google Business Profile, Yelp and TripAdvisor
  • Experience with guest databases, loyalty programs and CRM/marketing platforms
  • Understanding of restaurant openings, events, promotions and local store marketing
  • Ability to develop clear briefs and successfully manage designers, content creators, vendors and cross-functional partners
  • Strong project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to identify a problem, determine the next steps and drive a project forward independently
  • Ability to travel locally between FVH restaurants and attend restaurant events as required
YOU WILL THRIVE HERE IF
  • You are the person who sees something missing and starts figuring out how to solve it.
  • You can move comfortably between strategy and execution, building a marketing plan in the morning, reviewing a menu proof in the afternoon and attending a restaurant event that evening.
  • You enjoy managing multiple brands because you like the variety rather than finding it overwhelming.
  • You can work with chefs, operators, designers, photographers, executives and outside partners and understand that each may require a different communication style.
  • You are highly organized, comfortable with accountability and do not need someone checking behind you to make sure the next step happened.
  • You understand that great restaurant marketing is ultimately about the guest experience and driving the business, not simply posting content.
  • And you enjoy an environment where the pace is high, the work changes constantly and you have significant flexibility and ownership over how you get it done.
