Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a MarTech Proxy Product Manager to serve as the primary bridge between marketing stakeholders and technical delivery teams. This person will own intake, requirements, prioritization, and follow-through for digital marketing technology initiatives while ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable work for product specialists and delivery resources.

The ideal candidate combines strong product management and stakeholder engagement skills with practical knowledge of the Adobe marketing technology ecosystem and adjacent analytics, consent, and customer-experience platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Engagement & Delivery Leadership
  • Serve as the primary engagement point for marketing stakeholders, campaign teams, and adjacent business partners.
  • Own the intake, clarification, documentation, and prioritization of digital marketing and MarTech requests.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into well-defined product requirements, user stories, priorities, and delivery expectations.
  • Manage operational intake and triage, assign work to the appropriate teams, and coordinate execution across MarTech initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives from initial stakeholder discussion through delivery, adoption, and outcome follow-up.
  • Maintain visibility into priorities, dependencies, risks, and progress, communicating clearly with both business and technical audiences.
  • Partner with operational and delivery leads across internal, global, and augmented teams to support effective execution.
  • Balance competing requests and help stakeholders make informed trade-offs based on business value, effort, urgency, and dependencies.
  • Maintain a clear, consistent intake and prioritization model for stakeholder requests.
  • Provide stakeholders with reliable visibility into priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes.
Technology Enablement
  • Translate business intake into executable product and technical delivery work.
  • Apply working knowledge of marketing technology products to guide stakeholder conversations and collaborate effectively with platform specialists.
  • Understand common MarTech architecture patterns, business processes, integrations, and platform configurations sufficiently to support delivery planning.
  • Help technical product resources operate effectively by providing clear context, requirements, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate across analytics, activation, personalization, consent, tagging, content, and customer-feedback workstreams.
  • Support roadmap development, backlog refinement, release planning, and delivery governance for the MarTech portfolio.
  • Translate business needs into actionable, technically informed requirements that enable efficient execution.
  • Ensure delivery teams receive the context and decisions needed to execute efficiently.
  • Advance the MarTech portfolio as a coordinated product ecosystem rather than a collection of disconnected tools.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Proxy Product Owner, MarTech Program Lead, or similar stakeholder-facing delivery role.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements, managing intake, prioritizing backlogs, and coordinating cross-functional delivery.
  • Ability to translate marketing and campaign needs into product requirements and actionable work for technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing technology architecture, integrations, data flows, tagging, analytics, personalization, journey orchestration, and consent management.
  • Experience partnering with marketing, product, analytics, engineering, architecture, and operations stakeholders.
  • Excellent facilitation, written communication, expectation management, and executive-ready presentation skills.
  • Comfort operating in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders, parallel priorities, and globally distributed delivery teams.
Platform Experience

Candidates should bring broad familiarity across the following ecosystem. Deep expertise in every platform is not required, but strong hands-on product ownership or delivery experience across several of these tools is expected.

  • Core Adobe Ecosystem: Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Target, Adobe tag management capabilities.
  • Adjacent Adobe Platform: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Analytics & Tagging: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager.
  • Consent & Customer Insight: OneTrust, Qualtrics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading MarTech initiatives in a large enterprise or matrixed organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile product delivery practices, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Experience coordinating work across internal teams, platform specialists, implementation partners, or other augmented resources.
  • Current residence in the Chicago or Milwaukee area, or a confirmed willingness to self-relocate.
Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $110,000–$150,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
