The Services Solution Manager plays a key role in supporting the sales team and customers by translating technical capabilities into tailored services solutions that meet customer needs. This role focuses on building strong relationships, strengthening Nokia’s presence throughout the Pre-Sales and Post-Sales phases, and guiding the creation of solution offerings. By combining deployment and support services understanding with technical expertise with a strategic approach, the Solution Manager ensures customer satisfaction while driving business success
Responsibilities- Evaluate and develop business opportunities in collaboration with Sales team / Account Manager, typically at regional or sub-regional level or with Partner Sales Manager typically at National Level
- Support sales opportunities through broad technical / system level expertise and internal / external business understanding
- Acts as a subject matter expert and engages customers, presents viable technical solutions, and articulates their value to the customers
- Contribute to the creation of customer network evolution plans, and competitively positions our technology strategy, solutions, and products to address customer needs.
- Identify short and longer-term solutions to address customer needs
- Provide expertise on solution architectures in the early phase of opportunity development, typically on regional / country level
- Address complex technical risks e.g. solution roadmap availability) with mitigation plans and solutions which generate solid business impact
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes and services
- Have in-depth organizational and relevant market knowledge and uses understanding on how relevant areas can be integrated to achieve objectives
- Gather network and site information required for preparation of customer quotations; focus on receipt and successful and efficient processing of customer orders
- Provide on-site customer support for both Pre and Post Sales activities
- Assist in driving project completion and acceptance from the customer
- Travel: 50%-75%
You have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in services, pre-sales, sales, and/or business development with deep understanding of the private wireless landscape in the telecommunications industry
- Solid knowledge of Mobile Networks product and Services portfolio (including RAN & MW) and understanding of delivery
- Proficient problem-solving, communication and presentation skills
- Proven record of making solid commitments and delivering
- Ability to work independently and manage complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity, with high situational adaptability
- Ability to trust, open collaboration and continuous improvement within own unit and across organizations
Proven ability to deal with fast evolving, complex and demanding customer requirements and situations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
