ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a strategic, results-driven Media Planner to help develop and execute integrated media plans across digital and offline media including programmatic, video, TV, radio/audio, and OOH. 

You'll build tactical media plan options, translating client objectives into audience-centric channel recommendations. You’ll contribute to channel recommendations, activate campaigns, and optimize performance against KPIs, managing work to budget and deadline, and helping maintain strong client and vendor relationships. Experience across B2B and B2C preferred. 

The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter, team player, innovative problem-solver, and able to manage multiple projects at once. This role requires you to be highly attentive to detail and resourceful, with the ability to work well under pressure. You must also be effective at communicating with internal team members as well as clients and vendors. Our ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, experience in both brand and demand gen campaign planning and activation, and a hunger for responsibility and learning. 

YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Develop and execute integrated media plans across digital and traditional media channels,  with a clear rationale for channel and plan recommendations. 
  • Conduct audience, competitive, and category research to develop insights-led channel and budget recommendations.
  • Manage deliverables throughout the campaign life cycle across research, planning, execution, tracking, and optimization.
  • Support vendor RFP evaluation and negotiations.
  • Own campaign activation processes (trafficking sheets, URL tracking, and tagging with Ad Ops/Analytics)
  • Build presentation materials and contribute to client status calls and presentations.  
  • Assist with campaign reporting activities, drawing analysis from data and recommending optimizations
  • Work closely with client engagement leads, project management, and external teams for operational efficiency.
  • Handle media reconciliation and billing for your accounts.
  • Supports the needs of direct manager and Media Directors 
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 2+ years of media planning experience with hands-on digital and offline exposure (at least one year of digital experience preferred)
  • Understanding of all forms of media planning, including brand, demand gen, and lead capture.
  • Experience with digital planning and research tools (MRI, Kantar, Commspoint, etc.)
  • Experience with digital campaign activation required (trafficking sheets, URL tracking setup, etc.)
  • Experience with media buying platforms a plus (MediaOcean, Strata, Nexelus, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing campaigns; strong analytical skills and understanding of KPI's for media
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively within a fast-paced agency environment
  • Must be assertive, highly self-motivated, with strong communications skills and a high level of professionalism.  
  • Demonstrated experience with client-facing interactions, and preparing and delivering presentation materials.
  • Comfortable communicating and coordinating with both internal teams and external partners; able to keep multiple stakeholders informed and aligned. 
  • Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint  
  • Ability to work as part of a team, share ideas and accept constructive feedback
  • Bachelor’s degree required degree or equivalent in experience including media planning and buying experience in an agency setting 

Location: Atlanta, Austin, or Chicago - Candidate must be within commuting distance and able to be in office 3+ days per week

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 USD
