ROLE SUMMARY
The Medical Director, US Medical Affairs Policy Methodologist will lead the methodological reviews and analysis of all policy discussions pertinent to inline and pipeline vaccine assets that will be discussed by the CDC ACIP, or VIP and Medical Societies, or other vaccine policy fora. The position reports to the US Medical Affairs Internal and External Policy Group Lead.
The position will focus primarily on: leading the policy strategies for the data generation plans for all vaccine assets, will help set policy strategies for the medical plans, tactical plans, and long-term forecasting for all vaccine assets. The incumbent will oversee internal GRADEs and EtRs for US, and lead cross-functional vaccine policy strategy work-streams for all vaccines assets.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the primary Pfizer point of contact for CDC, ACIP, as well as Vaccine Integrity Project
- Serves as the primary Pfizer point of contact for Medical Societies (AAP, AAFP, ACOG, IDSA) regarding issues of vaccine policy
- Works in concert with the Global Vaccine Policy Lead to synchronize priorities, strategy, and cross functional resources, where appropriate.
- Works closely with the Vaccine Field Medical Policy Lead to develop a cohesive strategic and operational plans to optimize vaccine recommendations and implementation of Pfizer vaccies
- Anticipate and predict policy questions, do internal GRADE analysis and EtRs for all vaccine assets
- Work cross functionally to collaborate with asset leads on the development of data generation plans for all vaccine assets for incorporation into the GRADE and EtR
- Collaborate with asset leads to execute external engagements, including advisory boards, where full GRADE, ETR and policy discussions are reviewed for inline and pipeline assets and any other policy related Ad Boards
- Works with Global Access and Value teams on CE models and Preference studies for the ACIP and EtR
- Works closely with the Policy Lead to ensures that US medical plans supporting obtaining and implementing ACIP policies for the asset are successfully developed and executed to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
- Assists the Chairs of the cross-functional Medical Policy Strategy Teams for all vaccine assets and supports that clear cross-functional goals are established, agreed to, and executed.
- Supports the delivery of US Cross-functional ACIP Strategic Plans, Forecasts, and Business Development plans for US in-line assets and those in development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- PharmD/PHD required with minimum of 5 years experience; Masters with 7+ years; Bachelors with 8+ years
- Expertise in Vaccines with specific recent expertise in vaccine policy development, GRADE, Evidence to Recommendations Framework, the CDC ACIP, medical society vaccine guideline development, systematic reviews and evidence reviews.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience not a requirement
- Highly motivated with demonstrated track record of high performance and producing
- outstanding results.
- Capable of comprehending and communicating in a clear, concise manner a large amount of
- scientific information.
- Proven ability to facilitate open discussion and debate among key stakeholders and build
- internal and external relationships through partnering, anticipating needs, fulfilling expectations.
