What You Will Do

  • Build and sustain strong member relations through attentive detail in handling member requests and volunteer interaction.
  • Provide administrative and project support to the client and staff team, including database maintenance and reporting
  • Serve as staff liaison to client member committees
  • Coordinate and maintain financial projects, membership dues and AP/AR
  • Enter and update records, manage rosters, and maintain data accuracy in the database
  • Support program initiatives and operations through communication with program volunteers and Executive Director, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with planning and coordination of specific sessions and events

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years relevant professional experience, to include customer service and/or administrative support experience
  • Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel 5% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Practical agency or nonprofit experience is a plus
  • Database management experience is a plus

Our hybrid environment offers you the option of working from home two days per week. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.

Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $55,000.
