Director – Manufacturing Sector  

Position Summary 

RSM is seeking a senior Manufacturing Industry Director to accelerate the growth and capacity of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice within the Manufacturing sector. This strategic leadership role will serve as an industry-focused executive responsible for strengthening RSM's manufacturing market position, expanding executive client relationships, shaping industry-specific solutions, and supporting the pursuit and delivery of enterprise-scale Dynamics 365 transformation programs. 

The ideal candidate combines deep manufacturing industry experience with strong knowledge of ERP, supply chain, customer engagement, and digital transformation initiatives. They will help elevate RSM's credentials in priority manufacturing segments, support complex pursuits, advise clients throughout transformational programs, and contribute to the development of industry-focused offerings and go-to-market strategies. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Industry Leadership & Market Development 

  • Serve as a recognized manufacturing industry leader and trusted advisor to executive stakeholders. 

  • Help develop and execute RSM's Manufacturing strategy for Microsoft Dynamics 365. 

  • Enhance RSM's qualifications and market credibility within targeted manufacturing sectors. 

  • Build relationships with manufacturing executives, industry associations, Microsoft stakeholders, and strategic partners. 

  • Represent RSM at industry events, conferences, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives. 

Business Development & Pursuit Support 

  • Support the pursuit of enterprise-scale D365 opportunities across Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement, and Power Platform. 

  • Participate directly in executive sales conversations and strategic account planning. 

  • Help identify, qualify, and mature new manufacturing opportunities. 

  • Leverage personal industry relationships and market presence to generate pipeline and referral opportunities. 

  • Advise pursuit teams on manufacturing-specific business processes, industry challenges, and transformation roadmaps. 

Manufacturing Subject Matter Expertise 

  • Provide expertise across manufacturing business functions including: 

  • Supply Chain Planning & Optimization 

  • Manufacturing Operations 

  • Production Management 

  • Quality Management 

  • Enterprise Asset Maintenance 

  • Distribution & Logistics 

  • Aftermarket & Field Service 

  • Customer Engagement 

  • Product Lifecycle Management

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
