Description

Matrix Global Services is seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect & Developer to design, develop, and govern enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions for clients across Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, and Construction industries.

This role combines solution architecture, hands-on development, and business analysis, requiring a professional who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, data engineers, and client leadership teams to deliver impactful digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Development

  • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end solutions using:
  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Power Pages
  • Architect scalable and secure solutions utilizing Dataverse as the central data platform.
  • Define enterprise architecture standards, including:
  • Environment strategy
  • Data modeling
  • Integration frameworks
  • Security architecture
  • Lead technical solution reviews and ensure compliance with governance, CoE standards, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Integrate Power Platform with:
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • Service Bus
  • API Management
  • Third-party applications through APIs and custom connectors
  • Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
  • Develop custom extensions, plugins, PCF controls, and integrations where required.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Facilitate discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
  • Translate business needs into:
  • User stories
  • Functional specifications
  • Technical solution designs
  • Architecture blueprints
  • Conduct process mapping exercises and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Create and maintain process flow diagrams, data flow documentation, and solution artifacts.
  • Support solution validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and stakeholder sign-off activities.

Client Engagement & Delivery

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout solution delivery and adoption.
  • Lead client-facing workshops, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Mentor junior developers and citizen developers on Power Platform best practices.
  • Produce high-quality technical documentation, including:
  • Architecture designs
  • Runbooks
  • Deployment guides
  • Training materials
  • Support pre-sales activities, including:
  • Solution scoping
  • Effort estimation
  • Proposal development
  • Technical presentations

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Deep expertise in:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Power Pages
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Model-Driven Applications using Dataverse.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Data modeling
  • Security roles
  • Business rules
  • Enterprise solution architecture
  • Experience with Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), and Process Advisor.
  • Expertise building enterprise-grade Power BI solutions, including:
  • Semantic models
  • Row-level security
  • Deployment pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange integrations.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services such as:
  • Azure Functions
  • Logic Apps
  • API Management
  • Key Vault
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
  • JavaScript
  • TypeScript
  • C#
  • Python
  • Experience implementing and managing:
  • Power Platform CoE Toolkit
  • Governance frameworks
  • DLP policies
  • Strong understanding of ALM and DevOps practices within Power Platform environments.

Business Analysis Skills

  • Experience facilitating requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Strong documentation skills, including:
  • Functional specifications
  • Process maps
  • Use cases
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into structured technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certifications:
  • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant
  • PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst
  • PL-400: Power Platform Developer
  • PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect (strongly preferred)
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents, and AI Builder.
  • Industry experience within:
  • Financial Services
  • Retail
  • CPG
  • Construction
  • Integration experience with enterprise platforms such as:
  • SAP
  • Salesforce
  • Dynamics 365
  • Exposure to:
  • Databricks
  • Dataiku
  • Azure AI Services
