Job Title: Mission Assurance Analyst

Job Description

    The Mission Assurance Analyst supports an Insider Risk Program, performing insider risk analysis, analytical product development, supply assessment and triage of potential insider threat activity under the direction of Insider Risk Program Manager. Work within an established Cyber Insider Risk program to apply both the technical, intelligence and human dimensions of insider risk analysis while ensuring activities are conducted in accordance with applicable customer guidelines.
     
  • The Mission Assurance Analyst will perform the following task: Threat Analysis & Fusion: Review, correlate, and analyze all-source intelligence (OSINT, CYBINT and closed commercial intelligence) to evaluate foreign intelligence or criminal capabilities, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) targeting US Critical Infrastructure.
  • Investigation & Operational Support: Provide direct analytical backing to Insider Risk investigations, operations, damage assessments, and intelligence inquiries; identify leads, anomalies.
  • Insider Risk Detection: Collaborate, and provide technical expertise to insider risk analysts, integrating User Activity Monitoring (UAM) or User Behavior Analysis, perform retrospective analysis, travel disclosures, technical and behavioral indicators to surface indicators of compromise.
  • Supply chain/partner due diligence: Third Party Organizational, Vendor Risk Assessment and vulnerability reports tailored for senior leaders.
  • Perform cyber due diligence: Third-party risk intelligence, including technology stack, domains/sub/DNS/WHOIS/IPs, cyber supply chain, ransomware susceptibility, financial impact, compromised credentials, and high-risk asset findings.
  • Briefings & Dissemination: Independently author intelligence reports, finished formal analytic products, FOCI threat advisories, and strategic assessments aligned industry best practices.

  • 7+ years

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience as a counterintelligence or intelligence analyst in an insider threat program, ideally in a federal or cleared environment where NITTF-aligned, Counterintelligence or FBI Insider Threat experience or equivalent standards applied.
  • Experience supporting federal law enforcement, intelligence community, or national security missions with a focus on Critical Infrastructure Completion of accredited CI foundational training (e.g., CI Special Agent Course [CISAC], technically trained agent, Counterintelligence All-Source Analysis Course [CIASAC], or equivalent service/agency schooling).
  • Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional (CCITP) certification desired.
  • Top Secret clearance.
