Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.


JerseySTEM is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to provide STEM education to underserved middle school girls by effectively managing our email marketing campaigns. If you have a passion for both marketing and education, and you're ready to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and optimize email marketing campaigns to engage our audience and drive desired actions.
  • Develop captivating and relevant email content, including copywriting and design, to ensure messages resonate with recipients.
  • Implement audience segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and targeted email campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B tests on various email elements to refine content and increase campaign effectiveness.
  • Utilize email marketing analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven improvements.
  • Oversee email list management, including maintenance, growth, and segmentation.
  • Implement email marketing automation workflows to streamline processes and enhance engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to execute email campaigns successfully.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing email marketing campaigns and using email marketing platforms.
  • Strong writing and copywriting skills with an understanding of email content optimization.
  • Familiarity with email marketing analytics and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including audience segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Creative mindset and ability to create compelling email designs and layouts.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple email campaigns simultaneously.
