Consulting firm looking to add a talented Municipal Engineer to their Chicago suburb office!


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in project planning/design process for municipal projects
  • Assist municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning for transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Develop plans, specifications, project budgets and other related bid documents for civil engineering projects
  • Assist with the evaluation/development engineering solutions
  • Facilitate permits with regulatory agencies as needed
  • Ensure engineering plans conform with local ordinances
  • Attend municipal board meetings

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Municipalities experience preferred
  • PE registration 
  • Experience with Microsoft software (Word/Excel)
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS preferred


Salary is commensurate with experience.
