About Renew

At Renew, we work with some of the largest and most influential owners and operators of apartments in the world, helping hundreds of thousands of renters navigate their lease renewals and find their next home.

Our team consists of industry veterans from top companies like Compass, Essex, Updater, Nike, and Trello - bringing together deep expertise in real estate, technology, and consumer experience. We operate as a remote-first company with a strong, collaborative culture and the backing of world-class investors. With over $20M raised from top institutional funds, Renew is on a mission to make renting more meaningful and valuable for everyone.

Today’s renters are renting for longer, moving more frequently, and investing more in their living spaces. Meanwhile, property managers are expanding, consolidating, and adopting hospitality-inspired strategies to elevate the resident experience and drive long-term loyalty—what we call the hotel-ification of rental housing.

Unlocking the full potential of this shift, requires rethinking the renter relationship and focusing on the critical renewal moment. Too often, valuable renter-property connections break down at the end of a lease, leading to costly turnover and a disjointed renter experience. Renew bridges this gap by helping property managers automate the renewal process, proactively retain residents, and create a frictionless path for renters to stay within their preferred property network—whether in the same apartment, a new apartment at the same property, or at an entirely new location. Renew connects the dots for renters and turns retention into a proactive business strategy for operators.

Join us in making renting more economically and emotionally rewarding for both renters and property managers.

This role is crucial in identifying and engaging prospective clients, delivering compelling sales pitches, and managing the full sales cycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic and experienced sales professional with a proven track record in complex B2B sales. Experience selling into multifamily operators or real estate ownership groups is preferred. This role requires up to 50% travel to engage with key clients, attend industry events, and develop strong relationships in the field. You should be comfortable navigating long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and selling a high-value SaaS solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct engaging product demonstrations and communicate the value proposition of Renew’s solutions to senior decision-makers.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update CRM with accurate sales activity and pipeline data to ensure strong forecasting and predictable revenue growth.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Manage high-value contract negotiations and close deals to meet or exceed aggressive sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term customer success and expansion opportunities.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and drive market expansion.
  • Field Engagement: Travel up to 50% to meet with clients, attend conferences, and strengthen relationships within the industry.
  • Upsell & Expansion: Identify and execute upsell opportunities to expand revenue within existing accounts.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, real estate technology, or multifamily housing solutions.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence executive decision-makers.
  • Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to manage sales activities and pipeline forecasts.
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup or high-growth SaaS company is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to drive impact at a strategic level.
