THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly driven New Logo Hunter with a proven track record of selling enterprise technology solutions to U.S. regional banks ($15B-$50B in assets).

This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives on opening doors, building executive relationships, creating opportunities from scratch, and winning complex transformation deals. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with regional financial institutions across the United States while positioning Temenos as a strategic partner in their modernization journey.

The successful candidate will have experience selling complex banking technology solutions, software platforms, SaaS, cloud, digital banking, payments, lending, data, or core banking solutions to senior executives within financial institutions.

This is a highly visible role requiring a consultative approach, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate lengthy enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

 

OPPORTUNITES

  • Own and execute a territory strategy focused on acquiring new banking clients within the U.S. regional banking market.

  • Develop, qualify, and close new logo opportunities through proactive prospecting, executive networking, referrals, industry events, and targeted account penetration.

  • Build strategic relationships with C-level executives, including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital Banking, Heads of Retail Banking, and Lines of Business leaders.

  • Lead complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract signature.

  • Create and execute account plans for target regional banks, identifying key business initiatives, buying centers, competitive landscapes, and decision-making processes.

  • Partner closely with Pre-Sales, Product, Professional Services, and Executive Leadership teams to deliver compelling value propositions and business cases.

  • Drive competitive displacement strategies against incumbent banking technology providers.

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast while consistently exceeding revenue and new logo targets.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to banking executives, helping them navigate digital transformation, operational efficiency, customer experience modernization, and growth initiatives.

 

SKILLS

  • You should have successful enterprise software or technology sales experience within the financial services industry.

  • You should have proven experience selling to regional U.S. banks with assets ranging from approximately $15B to $50B.

  • You should have demonstrated success in a hunter/new logo acquisition role, consistently exceeding annual sales quotas.

  • You should have experience engaging and selling directly to executive decision-makers within financial institutions.

  • You should have strong network within the U.S. banking industry.

  • You should have experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

  • You should have ability to develop opportunities from initial prospecting through contract execution.

  • You should have strong business acumen and understanding of banking industry trends, challenges, and transformation initiatives.
