About Us: Top Tier is a dynamic and rapidly growing sports company at the forefront of youth sports, collegiate athletics, and the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) landscape. We collaborate with universities and student-athletes to create athlete-led camps, clinics, and training experiences that enhance earning opportunities for athletes. In partnership with universities and athletic departments, Top Tier is developing a scalable model that bridges collegiate athletes with local sports communities. As we continue to expand into new markets, this internship represents a unique opportunity to join a pre-seed, high-growth company at a pivotal stage of its development. 
Role Overview: This internship is tailored for ambitious individuals eager to forge careers in sports business, startups, entrepreneurship, or the evolving NIL ecosystem. Interns will work closely with Top Tier’s executive leadership team, gaining invaluable insights into the operational, strategic, and growth initiatives driving our venture-backed sports company. High-performing interns may have the opportunity to transition to full-time roles as Top Tier grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing, Content & Brand Development • Develop engaging digital content to enhance Top Tier’s marketing campaigns and brand presence. • Assist in the execution of social media strategies and content initiatives across various platforms.

Partnerships & Market Development • Conduct research and outreach to cultivate partnerships with youth sports organizations, community groups, and industry stakeholders. • Support partnership coordination and relationship management efforts.

Operations & Event Execution • Assist in the planning and execution of athlete-led camps and events.

Strategy & Special Projects • Participate in executive meetings, contributing to strategic initiatives and growth opportunities. • Take ownership of projects that align with your passions to drive Top Tier’s growth and expansion.

Candidate Profile: Successful candidates will demonstrate: • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. • A keen interest in the business aspects of sports and emerging NIL opportunities. • The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, high-performing team environment. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. • Reliability, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with digital content creation and social media strategy is essential. Proficiency in creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms is preferred.

Professional Development Opportunities: This internship offers a deep dive into the operations of a venture-backed sports company. Interns will: • Collaborate directly with Top Tier’s executive leadership team. • Engage in strategy discussions and executive meetings. • Develop professional relationships within the sports and NIL ecosystem. • Contribute to tangible projects and initiatives that support the company’s growth.

Internship Details: 
Location: Chicago (Hybrid, with some in-person days required)
 • Duration: Summer internship, 10-12 weeks 
Schedule: Full-time
 • Compensation: Paid 
Travel: Travel may be required and will be fully covered by Top Tier.
