As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our options clearing and reconciliation processes. This position is essential to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of trading activity across multiple desks. You will serve as a key link between our trading teams, clearing firm, exchanges, and internal systems to help maintain the smooth functioning of post-trade processes.
Your responsibilities will span a variety of core operational functions, project work, and coordinating between teams. You’ll work closely with traders, engineers, and other operations professionals to identify and resolve issues quickly, helping to maintain the accuracy and efficiency that underpins our trading strategies.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role that offers exposure to a wide range of functions and operational challenges. It’s a great opportunity for someone who is analytical, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to build a strong foundation in trading operations. You'll be encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, and contribute ideas as we continuously evolve our processes and infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Provide daily support liaison with clearing firm and trading group. This will include checking trades and resolving out trades, resolving discrepancies with our clearing firm, and being able to reconcile our trading position balances daily.
- Communicate with traders during the trading hours.
- Check daily morning, intraday, and closing trading positions for accuracy.
- Check clearing activity reports and troubleshoot problems that may arise.
- Work closely with all related parties to resolve internal clearing or systems issues.
- Corporate actions processing and infrastructure cost allocation.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of SQL, or willingness to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail
- Hard working and dedicated individual
- Strong communication skills and desire to work in a team environment

The total compensation range for this role is approximately $60,000 -$100,000 contingent on experience. Wolverine Trading's total compensation model includes base salary and an annual discretionary bonus.
