The Operations Manager leads end-to-end operations for 15 water industry product lines at the Holland, MI campus. This role sets and executes operational strategy, leads a team of operational professionals, and ensures performance consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations. The Manager drives continuous improvement through data-driven reviews, audits, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Regular reporting to senior leadership ensures transparency, accountability, and sustained operational excellence. Strategic Planning: A strategic thinker with a test and learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements.
- Create and implement long-term business strategies
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial plans
- Analyze market trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Oversee project timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth project execution
- Identify and resolve any project issues or conflicts
Supply Chain Management
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors
- Monitor and analyze supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Quality Control
- Develop and enforce quality control procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with standards
- Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions
Risk Management
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and address any legal or regulatory issues
Customer Service
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Address any customer complaints or concerns
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance indicators
- Generate reports on operations and present to upper management
- Use data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business Engineering, Administration, Supply Chain Management,
- 5 years experience in operations leadership/plant management and at least 5 years experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Incorporate Lean Management, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) principles into daily operations
- Proven experience in import/export operations with significant supervisory experience.
- Expert level understanding of advanced failure analysis techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to report findings and make recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, Google Analytics, SAP, and various CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
- Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
- End-to-end Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of measurable results.
