We are looking for an organized, proactive, and results-driven Administrative Assistant who operates with strong attention to detail, a high sense of urgency, and who is passionate about providing best-in-class administrative and project support to their assigned executive and team.
This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment, and we are seeking someone with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. This person must be a master at multitasking and anticipate the needs of their executive, keeping ten steps ahead. In this pivotal role, you will support the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development/Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
What You'll Bring:

  • 4-5 years of experience in administration (providing support to multiple executives and/or senior level management) or a related field

  • Acting as an extension of the supported executive and being a cornerstone to the team-building process within the supported function
  • Ability to perform overall duties and responsibilities of this position with minimal to no direction using independent judgment
  • Must have a working knowledge of the entire Microsoft® Suite programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Drive, energy, and a sense of purpose for the role and supporting function
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred


Impact You'll Make:
As an Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, you will develop your knowledge and understanding of both the business and the executive you support to play a critical role in enabling TransUnion's global M&A success. This team is fast-paced, high performing, dynamic, and responsible for leading the development of our long-term global strategy.
The administrative assistant will develop a meaningful partnership with the team, and play an important role in assisting with multiple projects, collaborating with functional departments (e.g. Finance, Business, Global Technology, etc.), and managing the execution of meetings with high priority and urgency. This person will utilize their creative problem-solving skills, effective decision-making, and project planning/management abilities to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.
This role will act as a liaison between the executive and executives' peers, leadership team, investment banks, prospective targets, and their senior management, vendors, consultants, and other internal and external key stakeholders. This position has access to and regularly handles information of the most sensitive, highly confidential, and strategically critical nature, therefore complete discretion is necessary.
To be successful, you must be a proactive thinker who is interested in understanding the business and working to provide more value to each task by maximizing the strategic alignment between the executive and their business priorities. You will be challenged to think beyond the task at hand and work to tie the pieces together to deliver maximum results.
Specific Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and prepare a daily schedule of executive's meetings and priorities
  • Ensure the most effective use of the executive's time
  • This may include some off-hour requests
  • Work closely and effectively with the executive
  • Keeping the executive well informed of upcoming commitments and/or responsibilities
  • Proactively following up on Administrative/operational duties associated with the executive's area of responsibility
  • Initiate, establish and communicate department meetings on behalf of executive
  • Follow-through on meeting actionable items expeditiously
  • Prepare, coordinate and schedule meetings for senior-level management and others within the organization
  • This includes logistics for off-site conferences, customer/partner events, Town Halls, internal associate celebratory/appreciation events, and other tasks as needed
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with bankers and external companies to explore potential investment opportunities
  • Support internal/external meeting coordinating and follow-ups within potential M&A targets' due diligence process
  • Manage and arrange complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans/itineraries, compile documents for travel-related meetings
  • Process and complete executive's weekly expense report(s) and reconciles corporate credit card account(s)
  • Coordinate food and beverage requests for executives, meetings, and/or events
  • Collect, analyze, prepare and update reporting tools/information to support the Corporate Development function
  • Manage internal technology/programs (i.e. SharePoint sites, shared drives, etc.)
  • Respond to daily inquiries and execute ad hoc requests and meeting logistics
  • May be required to book travel, hotel accommodations, meeting room(s), and other meeting requirements for cross-functional teams
  • Organize external/vendor meetings, interviews, events, etc.
  • Collaborate and develop strong relationships within the Corporate Development team, the finance leadership team as well as the executive/administrative assistant community
