What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role must be versatile, multi-functional and have the ability to provide project management on a wide range of projects. You must possess strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills with experience developing and managing milestone schedules/timelines. This role provides access to confidential and highly sensitive information, requiring a candidate who acts with the utmost integrity and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. In addition, the candidate must possess:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years' experience working in related business function with direct HR experience desirable
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, communications and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and with highly confidential topics.
- Ability to be independent in making decisions on behalf of CHRO/HRLT.
- Experience with budget management
- Able to consider tradeoffs and risks to ensure projects move forward.
- Must employ sound judgment in escalating and clear communication to keep stakeholders appropriately informed.
- May require travel up to 10% of time.
Impact You'll Make:
- This is an exciting opportunity to see and learn HR from the top of the organization. The Chief of Staff to the CHRO will partner closely with their leadership team on both HR projects as well as tactical execution of the HR agenda. You will work closely with the HR Leadership team, setting agendas for leadership meetings and driving for decisions when appropriate to ensure key initiatives advance.
- Prepare HR presentations for internal and external audiences on behalf of the CHRO, including monthly HR updates to the CEO and leadership team, data and reporting to provide a view of organizational health.
- Work closely with CHRO and HRLT on special projects, such as using market research skills to identify internal and external trends that may impact or influence HR strategy.
- Support HR Leadership Team meetings inclusive of agenda development, action item follow up and driving for decisions when necessary.
- Coordinate the HR Strategic Planning Process including translating the 3 year plan in to annual goals and developing a process and cadence to cascade the information across HR.
- Manage HR project portfolio on behalf of the HR Leadership Team, compiling regular updates and progress reports.
- Support the CHRO with their priorities and deadlines, ensuring they are briefed on key issues and deliverables.
- Support internal and external communications
- Maintain calendar, confidential files and systems.
- Arrange logistics for appointments and meetings; prepare agendas.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for executive and other individuals.
- Maintain HR budget, participate in forecast meetings and support the accrual process.
