West Monroe is investing to build a team within our growing Consulting Operations function. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership of West Monroe, specifically the Chief Operating Officer and various Executive Committee Members, while directly reporting to the Senior Manager of Consulting Operations.
As a member of the growing Consulting Operations function, this individual will be responsible for partnering with Shared Services functions as well as business units leads in delivering upon our strategic objectives. This position is well-suited for an individual that thrives from driving change and managing interpersonal dynamics in a face-paced and entrepreneurial culture – embracing both the challenges and opportunities that come with the environment.
We are looking for someone that brings passion and new ideas to the table and has a proven track record in project or program management. You must have a demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence leaders, think strategically, and provide excellent customer service, while also possessing strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Ability and passion to drive change and manage interpersonal dynamics in a face-paced and entrepreneurial culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to delivery upon the strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with line consultants and Shared Services functions, including but not limited to Finance, Client Success, Talent Acquisition, Strategic Growth, and Marketing
- Work across cross-functional stakeholders to identify process improvements, innovate, and advance insights to influence decision-making and drive consistency and scale within the business
- Monitor firmwide operating defaults and metrics to manage performance of the consulting business; develop analyses to proactively identify trends and areas for further analysis/exploration
- Liaise with other operations-focused roles such as RPOs, local office operations, and resource specialists to ensure consistent knowledge sharing and improve alignment and consistency across the functions
- Partner with the Director of Business Development to facilitate enhancements in the function and improved alignment between the consulting lines and business development function
- Serve as the primary Consulting Operations stakeholder for firmwide or prioritized initiatives originating outside of Consulting Ops
- Define, manage, and execute initiatives originating from the Chief Operating Officer or Consulting Operations
- Partner with People Teams and Strategic Growth to enable the execution of the 6-year strategy across the consulting line
- Leverage data to convey meaningful stories, uncover issues, and propose solutions to enable executive decision-making
Qualifications:
- Executive-level presence and ability to present to senior-level executives
- Experience (7+ years) in business, operations, professional services, or similar environment
- A self-starter with high degree of autonomy, independence and executive presence; self-direct management of multiple projects
- Experience working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in order to facilitate decision-making
- Experience creating executive-level deliverables
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Skilled with reporting, including in Excel, Power BI, and Salesforce CRM
