Job Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious Director of Sales, Account Management to lead and develop a team of Account Managers. This role is ideal for a Sales Leader who is experienced at managing Account Managers and has a history of over-achieving upsell and expansion targets. The team’s task is twofold; to ensure the customers success therefore safeguarding and maximizing the renewal and, to identify and convert opportunities to expand and upsell Keeper’s footprint with the customer. The Director of Sales will proactively engage in the day-to-day management of account managers. This role will work directly with Sales, Technical Support, Professional Services and Finance.
This position is designed for an experienced sales leader with a passion for success and a drive for excellence.
Responsibilities:
Hire, manage and lead a team of 10-20 Account Managers to successfully own and develop their accounts and strengthen their customer relationships
Develop and implement internal processes to create seamless management of accounts and measurements of team performance while eliminating roadblocks
Own the quota & forecast for your team of Account Managers and motivate the team to exceed expansion, upsell, and renewal targets
Proven track record of sustaining & growing complex relationships including closing the renewal, upsell / cross-sell opportunities
Effectively utilize CRM tool to manage a pipeline, analyze sales results and report directly to leadership team on projected sales goals
Help your team identify and close new opportunities within the existing customer base
Creation of customer success roadmaps with customers to guide engagement with the client
Coordinate with business users and procurement to ensure timely renewals
Collaborate cross-functionally with Keeper’s Sales, Sales Engineering, and Support teams to advocate for your customers’ positive experience and growth.
As part of the Global Leadership team drive initiatives to propagate best practice and process to further excellence and performance in the global team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ Years working in a sales management role leading sales teams
7+ Years in a sales role providing tech solutions to SMB, SME, and Enterprise customers
Strong communication skills and technical aptitude
Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop relationships
Ability to take initiative, operate as an owner and be proactive
Superior communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
Proactive team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to user adoption and churn mitigation
Experience working with Enterprise customers to drive adoption and increase revenue.
