What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 10 years relevant progressive experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
- A strong track record independently developing, executing and measuring the success of strategic communication programs
- The ability to form effective, consultative working relationships with colleagues at all levels and external stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with significant writing experience
- Extremely good prioritization and organization skills
- Comfort working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Creativity, flexibility and initiative
We’d Love to See:
- Expertise in crisis and/or public affairs communication programs
- Experience working in information services and/or financial services
- Advanced degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
Impact You'll Make:
- You will join a dynamic communications team that helps build and protect TransUnion’s reputation with key stakeholders worldwide.
- This role requires strong relationships with colleagues from various departments across TransUnion including legal, compliance, government relations, information security, public relations, marketing, internal communications, design, social media, sales, investor relations, and more.
- This role is expected to manage the work of team members and agencies to maximize performance.
- You will be responsible for developing and leading a public affairs communication program in the United States to articulate and amplify TransUnion’s perspective on topics affecting our industry.
- You will also lead the company’s communications in response to issues affecting our company, as part of a cross-functional response team.
- Periodically, you will also support the broader Corporate Affairs & Communications team by contributing to corporate communication, executive communication, and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Some travel may be required
