Director – Retail Partnership Management

Cooler Screens is re-imagining the business of brick-and-mortar retail for retailers and brands.  We are transforming retail cooler surfaces into IoT enabled screens that deliver new marketing opportunities and smart merchandising for the ultimate shopper experience. Cooler Screens is building the world’s first and largest in-store digital media and edge computing platform at the retail point-of-sale.

As the Director Retailer Partnership Management you will be responsible for leading key retail accounts through the Cooler Screens journey.  You will drive and coordinate all the facets related to the onboarding, service, and expansion of retail accounts.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute program plans to onboard a retailer to Cooler Screens
    • Assess and understand interdependencies for program implementation related to Cooler Screens and the retailer’s operating model.  Main workstreams include: Data exchange, connectivity, installation, servicing.
    • Maintain progress updates with key stakeholders from CSI and retailer accounts
    • Identify and mitigate potential roadblocks for program success
    • Coordinate CSI and retailer areas to ensure a successful outcome at all stages of a program: pilot, expansion, maturity
    • Ensure agreed SLAs with retailers are being met during program execution
    • Coordinate the execution of vendors/partners to deliver the program objectives
  • Drive the value creation agenda with the retailer
    • Interact with the retailer to ensure expectations are aligned on areas of value creation (advertising, sales, operations)
    • Communicate/Transmit the value that CSI brings to the retailer partners
    • Build program sponsor relationships and influence key stakeholders at retailers based on the value created by partnering with CSI
    • Manage a growth agenda with CSI commercial team and the retailer accounts to create value through the application of Cooler Screens across retailer’s footprint
    • Work with retailer to create, onboard new CSI applications e.g., health, checkout
  • Manage the P&L of the account with a focus on revenue acceleration
  • Be viewed as an engaged, present, creative, connected and values-driven leader

What you need to succeed: 

 

  • 10+ years of experience in the following
  • Retail experience at Cooler Screens’ primary sectors (Grocery, Health, Convenience) is preferred
  • Experience with implementing value creation programs at retailers is preferred
  • Track record of collaboration with senior executives and ability to work through all levels of an organization
  • Strong management and communication skills, including presentations to management
  • Experience developing and implementing plans and programs with a strong ability to think from concept through execution
  • Proven track of providing excellent results, show persistence and perseverance. Proactive qualities and self-directed actions
  • Proven track record of helping companies solve problems by understanding the values, management abilities, and organizational accountabilities
  • Comfortable with navigating through organizational shifts in culture and process
  • Ability to work productively in a changing environment
