Job Description
Enterprise Issue Manager
The Issue Manager is responsible for ensuring that identified internal control weaknesses and inefficiencies are promptly remediated and communicated to senior and middle management. This includes defining expectations for each issue remediation project, including remediation scope, timing, key contacts, and deliverables. Leveraging your knowledge and business professionals to ensure the successful development of Enterprise Issue Management programs to produce high-quality reports used by the business to enhance issue management and process improvements with business owners.
Responsibilities:
- As an Issue Manager, work with the Issue Owners to be a Risk Partner, to document and track issue and risk remediations.
- Continuous process improvement and digital transformation of all Enterprise Risk Management processes
- Contribute to enhancing our GRC tool to address risk management and compliance business needs
- Project manage and drive issue remediation activities across various teams within the Enterprise, concentrating on Security and Privacy
- Develop/Enhance dashboard for management-level issue analytics and reporting
- Support Cloud Assurance team in root cause analysis and remediations from continuous monitoring and audits
- Assist in compilation of Committee materials and attend all meetings.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with our business units management
- Perform other duties & responsibilities specific to department functions & activities as required or assigned
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
- 7+ years prior work experience in a SaaS/Cloud company Security and Compliance group or Security & Risk practice of a Big 4 firm
- Direct and recent work experience with at least two of the following compliance programs: ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SSAE16, SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI.
- Prior experience with Security Information Management systems and/or equivalent of CISSP, CISA
- Strong project management skills and organizing ability with experience in successfully managing multiple projects at varying levels of technical difficulty at the same time.
- Preferred working knowledge of ServiceNow platform
- Prior experience with GRC systems
- Ability to understand the intent of compliance requirements to provide effective and meaningful analysis
- Ability to engage in root-cause analysis and effective resolution dialogue
- Creative approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment
- Excellent report writing skills, ability to prepare reports and associated metrics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter
