This role will play a key part in enabling this innovation and transformation. The individual will use their business and security expertise to assess IT and information security risks to enable better decisions by leaders, and influence individuals and departments throughout a global Fortune 500 company. This role will lead the assessment, management, and reporting on IT and information security risk.
Bring an innovative mindset to established security awareness practices to uncover new efficiencies.
Develop Information Security awareness strategies that align with business goals and protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and Motorola Solutions data
Engage others in understanding and addressing information security risks related to employee actions.
Maintain ongoing reporting and metrics demonstrating the status and effectiveness of the program.
Create and maintain supporting procedures.
Participate in Information Security assessments
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
Desired/ Skills Experience
CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CEGIT, or other relevant certification (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
Experience related to Industry Standards in one of the following: ISO27001/2, NIST, CMMC, SOC 2
Experience in policy development and implementation
Understand the business and operations of information security and cybersecurity
Additional: Technical knowledge and/ or experience in systems administration, architecture, cloud, or other technical domain
Experience developing training materials
Familiarity with compliance standards and activities for SOx and or PCI
Project and organizational competency
Minimal travel may be required; less than 5%
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience with IT Risk Management, IT Audits, and/or IT Security Assurance
