What You'll Bring
Effective management/leadership skills and experience, with the ability to mentor and train others
Experience using an ERP accounting system and advanced MS Excel skills
Understanding of complex accounting principles and close processes
Ability to communicate effectively with various teams, including Sales VPs/Managers
8+ years of professional commissions processing and/or accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
We’d Love to See:
Must be a critical thinker and problem solver; able to anticipate business needs and lead process improvement
Ability to influence in a matrix environment with strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, and/or Xactly
CPA or CPA candidate preferred
Impact You'll Make
Managing of commission system calculations to ensure Sales associates are paid accurately
Ensuring that the commission team processes timely and accurate incentive statements
Develop standard procedures and practices around the processing of monthly commissions
Processing monthly commission statements and payouts
Produce monthly leadership reports covering commissions
Forecasting annual commission expense
Assist with month end closing including reviewing journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist in the efficiency of accounting and reporting by streamlining manual processes
Participate in accounting topics and transactions, such as Revenue Recognition, Acquisitions
Creating and updating SOX documentation pertaining to the commission process
