The Operations/Accounts Payable Analyst supports sales and marketing initiatives from inception to Order Fulfillment. The position will be responsible for contract fulfillment, new enrollments and contract renewals, retail credit review, and broker management. This position will also be responsible for communications to residents in Municipal Aggregation Communities, responsible for Accounts Payable for company transactions and various reporting and ad hoc projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the process for contract fulfillment/rejection for C&I and residential accounts. This process requires close coordination with the Operations Manager to ensure all C&I contracts are reviewed prior to enrollment. Process requires notification to customers once a contract has been completed. Some filing will be required. May require limited interaction with customers on any escalated issues.

• Performs various accounting responsibilities, including the Oracle Accounts Payable process for the company. Accurately processes accounts payable and works with parent company on payment of company bills on a timely basis. May require communication with vendors when needed. Also responsible for any reporting related to accounts payable as required. Perform credit checks as necessary for Commercial and Industrial sales customers in a timely and efficient basis. Work with the CFO on other accounting/operation type reporting.

• Manage the organic residential renewal process. Process renewals on a daily basis in a timely and accurate manner. Will be responsible to report any system issues to IT and work with them for adequate resolution. Also, any future changes required will entail working and testing with IT on any future changes to the automated renewal system. Also included are ad hoc renewals of residential accounts in manual batches as well.

• Manage Opt in and Opt Out notification requirements to municipal aggregation town residents, including tracking of undeliverable mail and subsequent notification to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required or commensurate experience in a similar role in the Energy Industry.

• 1-4 years of professional work experience.

• Experience in fast paced environment to include working in a customer focused role.

• Proven track record in working with external and internal customers in a rapidly changing environment with a high degree of professionalism.

• Ability to deal with changing priorities, willingness to learn, enthusiasm and teamwork will be required. This job will require working beyond normal business hours at times.

• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other computer systems. Experience with Oracle a plus. Must be proficient in preparing letters, labels by mail merging function for large volume mailings.

• Good organizational skills required. Proven ability to manage multiple assignments on their own, providing progress reports as needed.

• Excellent focus on accuracy, efficiency and timeliness.
