Partnership Operations Manager, Infectious Disease

We're looking for a Partnership Operations Manager who will build and manage the daily operations and performance goals for a large and scaling Infectious Disease clinical testing business. This team member will also manage enterprise-level partnerships, pivotal to the development of this business.
In this role, you will:
- Lead operational excellence across large cross-functional team
- Manage the relationship with and custom operations for an enterprise-level partner
- Build and mature operating models for a brand new business
- Identify optimization opportunities and design execution roadmaps
- Shape the creation of a new team at Tempus by identifying team goals and the best way to reach them
- Drive professional growth and performance of other team members
- Redefine key metrics and refine/build systems to support them
- Partner with Operations, Science and Product & Engineering to identify process and product feature improvements to support daily operations
- Build the industry’s best, most efficient clinical testing pipeline
- Make a tangible impact in the fight against COVID-19
A good candidate:
- Has 5+ years of operating experience including scaling teams, leading business units and a track record of exceeding KPIs
- Has successfully managed strategic external partnerships, ideally in healthcare
- Uses analytical expertise to identify and solve large-scale problems quickly
- Demonstrates the ability to foster growth in people and teams
- Has exceptional leadership and management skills
- Has impeccable verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and translate them into concrete action plans
- Is persistent, resilient, and gritty
- Loves to “build new things”
An ideal candidate:
- Has experience at a healthcare, genomics, or management consulting firm
- Possesses an Advanced Degree in Business, Public Health, or Science
