Restaurant Solutions Senior Director

The Director of Restaurant Solutions will identify business opportunities for new restaurant solutions and drive solution realization from concept through market adoption. This leader will collaborate across HAVI’s functional service lines and shared services, logistics, sales, operations, and technology, and our sister company, The Marketing Store Worldwide, to define and implement profitable solutions.  We are looking for a high performing and results oriented individual who is passionately “customer centric” and has strong leadership and communication skills. The Director of Restaurant Solutions is charismatic and can influence multi-functional teams to drive outcomes. Additional responsibilities:

  • Set vision and milestones for Restaurant solutions
  • Drive key realization deployment and partnering decisions
  • Partner within HAVI to identify and place the appropriate resources (internal and external) required to develop solutions and execute major initiatives
  • Responsible for identifying and managing a portfolio of Restaurant solutions to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Provide leadership and development for other Restaurant Solution Manager(s) to track key milestones budgets and resources for the portfolio
  • Define Retail solution strategy and vision
  • Drive solution management from concept market adoption to end of life
  • Develop relationships and establish credibility with executives of strategic customers & vendors by demonstrating deep industry and business knowledge; Viewed by customer & partner executives as a solution provider
  • Partner with HAVI Technology and Logistics service lines to lead a Restaurant solution roadmap and business case development
  • Evaluate and recommend new vendors or partners that support the product vision
  • Advise partners and resellers on financial decisions
  • Collaborate with functional leaders including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technology and Supply Chain Operations
  • Act as the single point of contact for any offerings related to Restaurant solutions (that are not part of the logistics core competency)
  • Lead phase review preparation and present it to SAC and senior management
  • Serve as thought leader ambassador and public speaker in the market
  • Communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

  • BA degree (or equivalent work experience) 
  • 12+ years of overall food service experience
  • Minimum of 5 years business development experience managing $50M+ business
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and manage multiple projects
  • Exhibit expert level understanding of Retail ecosystem and technology trends such as POS solutions AIDC devices mobile payment and EMV technologies
  • Known as a thought leader and is a seasoned public speaker at Retail industry events
  • Excellent team-building experience
  • Sound business judgment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel 25-30%
