Senior Manager of Non-Food Procurement

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Lead packaging and indirect procurement and supply planning team
- Create plan to achieve target cost for packaging
- Manage pipeline of projects to achieve cost targets including sourcing, design to value and process improvement solutions
- Lead sourcing team in developing category strategies, conducting sourcing events, negotiating contracts
- Drive adoption of advanced purchasing tools and methods
- Work with Technology team to develop tools and solutions required for sourcing and planning
- Mentor and develop team of 4-5 people
- New packaging development
- Work with customer experience and marketing team to develop requirements for new packaging·
- Conduct early sourcing to optimize total cost of ownership of new packaging·
- Represent the voice of fulfillment team in the development process and ensure solutions are easy to use at the fulfillment centers
- Cold chain management
- Conduct testing for all existing and new packaging and develop or maintain guidelines for ice and insulation for maintaining temperature control inside customer boxes
- Design experiments and execute through test chamber technician
- Present results and solutions internally to drive changes and improvements
Qualifications:

- High level of expertise with spreadsheets including scripting, macros, external data connections, basic SQL, VBA
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role requiring quantitative analysis and decision making e.g., and not limited to management consulting, finance, investment banking, operations research, equity research, purchasing and supply management, capital budgeting
- Demonstrated record of quantifiable business impact
- Experience leading teams of at least 2-3 individuals over at least 1 year
