Department OverviewThe Services Portfolio Management team is responsible for the strategy, creation, and maintenance of Motorola's Managed and Support services offerings across our global Land Mobile Radio, Consoles, and Private Broadband portfolio. This includes: gathering and prioritizing service and customer requirements; defining the service offer vision and strategy, collaborating with Product and other key work partners to deliver winning service offerings and solutions, and managing the service offer throughout its lifecycle.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a track record of successfully creating and launching products and services, and who is both customer focused and technology savvy. Candidates must also be creative and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, easily adaptable to new processes and new ways of working in order to meet the ever changing needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for bringing new service offerings to market that solve customer problems and create new sources of revenue for our company. In this role, you will contribute to product and service strategies, vision and roadmaps with an end-to-end ownership of the service offerings and customer experience that supports the company's overall strategy and goals. Major Duties & Responsibilities of the Services Portfolio/Product Manager include, but are not limited to:
Familiarize yourself with company’s product lines and service offerings and their impact on our customers and market as a whole
Define, develop and deliver new product attached services and subscription services that support organization’s overall strategy and goals
Build relationships and identify stakeholders across the organization as it relates to your assigned portfolio of service offerings
Assess service-related customer and company needs, opportunities and pain points, and develop business cases, strategies and roadmaps to address them
Partner with Go To Market and Marketing teams to develop value propositions, positioning and messaging for your service offerings
Develop business cases that include in-depth financial analysis, projected returns on investment scenario modeling, pricing and pricing strategies, etc.
Participate in data-driven, cross-functional prioritization processes
Lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver your approved service offers/products. Typical engagement involves teams from Product, Finance, Engineering, Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, Training/Documentation, Order Administration and third parties.
Demonstrate strong product management discipline, adherence to defined processes and continuously looking for opportunities to introduce efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science, MBA is preferred
Must have 5+ years of Product Management experience
Must be fluent in product management discipline
Must have excellent verbal and written skills
Must have the ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels across the company
Experience in video security or cybersecurity is desirable
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline
5+ years of Product Management experience
