The Sr. Manager of Global Demand Planning will be responsible but not limited to the following:
Forecast Accuracy - create and implement processes to achieve best in class performance
Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning - Implement cutting edge forecasting techniques
Demand Stability - identify practices that cause gyration to the supply base and systematically resolve
Sales & Operations Planning - Increase effectiveness of alignment with Sales, Finance, Supply, Product and Engineering teams
Cost - Drive efficiency in all areas of work and allocate resources to best achieve expected outcomes
Organizational and talent development - develop and retain a highly productive and efficient team while driving a succession pipeline
Continuous Improvement - Develop strategy and lead programs to drive global adoption of best practices, innovations in planning while allowing for regional flexibility
End to End Alignment - Develop and implement strategies across functions such as Operations, Supply Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, & Business operations
Experience creating segmentation across products and SKUs applying different planning strategies based on segmentation
Experience in different safety stock modeling methods and tools for finished goods and/or components
Experience with Power BI or Tableau creating dashboard, automation and creating actionable insights
Moves beyond the traditional way of doing things and continually assesses the market potential of an innovative idea
Promotes a team environment that values, encourages, and supports differences
Manage team of ~5 planning professionals in North America
Bachelor's Degree is required. Seeking an emphasis in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering discipline is desired
An M.B.A or other advanced degree is preferred
Seeking 8+ years of experience in a supply chain role and demonstrated track record of achieving stretch goals in the planning field
Experience within the semiconductor industry is a plus
Experience in Global Supply Planning, DC Supply Planning or supplier management is also a plus
8+ years experience in one of the following: Demand Planning, Supply Chain or Operations Planning
