Supervisor, Change Management
Job Description
The Supervisor, Change Enablement within Global Business Services (GBS), is responsible for preparing and equipping employees for organizational change related to strategy, policy, processes and technology. The Supervisor will develop an approach for and execute organizational Change Enablement efforts including but not limited to: Building and delivering a Change Enablement Self-Service Model, Aligning Leaders, Stakeholder Management, Organizational Risk and Readiness, Job Impact Analysis, Strategic Communications, and Education/Training. This role collaborates with the Change Enablement Team in the development of deliverables to the GBS organization. The position will report to the Manager of Change Enablement, Global Business Services.
Responsibilities
In addition to following McDonalds policies and procedures, principle responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Alignment
Develop strategic messaging for customer communications
Assist with measuring the effectiveness of alignment activities
Ensure alignment and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
Change Enablement Strategy and Execution
Support Change Enablement efforts to drive end user adoption of new policies, processes, technology, and roles and responsibilities associated with projects that support the GBS strategy
Work with GBS/Partners/Markets to identify, define, and adopt changes
Identify and address organizational risk and readiness issues
Develop business readiness plans, to aid GBS in responding to key impacts and prepare for changes
Identify business and job impacts for GBS and each impacted business area/Market, and align program and business/market teams around key impacts
Mobilize and support change enablement networks
Coach employees on creating and implementing effective change plans
Conduct impact analysis to understand stakeholder needs and commitment
Develop stakeholder management plans to identify key players and resistors of a change initiative and plans to aid their transitions
Assist with the development and socialization of processes, tools and protocols for implementing change
Develop and manage a comprehensive strategy for a Change Enablement Self Service Model for GBS
People Development and Relationship Management
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with groups within GBS
Coaching/Counseling
Educate GBS Employees on Change Enablement Tools for effective self-service
Partner with Change Enablement resources on project delivery
Counsel individuals on development of key messages and on effective message delivery to various stakeholders and audiences
Support project teams by reviewing and recommending change enablement approach, including implementation of key change tools
Minimum Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required
3+ years experience in a Change Management role
Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven leadership and ability to influence and work with multi-disciplined teams
Advanced degree a plus
High level of strategic focus/perspective and tactical ability to deliver
Ability to receive direction and work independently
Ability to navigate, orchestrate and work through complex issues with strategic, tactical and fresh perspective
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate issues and solutions
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills
Understanding of and ability to apply Change Enablement leading practices
Able to demonstrate and communicate behaviors that will assist team members to serve as change agents in the organization
