Supervisor, Loan Servicing
What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for leading and managing all day to day aspects of the Akcelerant product life cycle and strategy. In addition, the Supervisor will oversee all Credit Bureau Reporting requirements, changes and strategy to ensure Alliant is compliant with all state and federal regulations regarding credit reporting and credit disputes. The Supervisor will partner with leaders in consumer lending to identify and implement solutions and systems that drive automation and process improvements that transforms the business to maximize the effectiveness and productivity of consumer lending. Resources to optimize job performance require a change leader that creates long term technical wealth. The Supervisor will work with the Business Risk Office, Compliance, Legal and Audit to identify, monitor and report on key performance metrics, resolve and monitor issues, and implement changes as a result of new or updated regulatory requirements. Resources to do the job require reliance on technical knowledge of consumer lending products, policy, procedures, and performance management.

- Lead the identification and implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance the Akcelerant ecosystem
- Serve as an escalation point for solving complex issues relating to product defects; represents the business and serves as the liaison to internal and vendor technical communities
- Diagnose errors and involve the platform vendor to solve issues as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements in addition to generating reports that provide insight and enhance business outcomes
- Identify continuous operational improvement opportunities and service efficiency initiatives; recommend solutions, and champion the implementation of agreed upon solutions
- Remain current on industry trends and implement best practices that result in improved performance
- Responsible for partnering with others in lending and across organization to produce accurate and valuable reporting that drives data driven decisions
- Act as key contributor in the creation, development, testing and deployment of product enhancements
- Manage release schedules, change control, and requirement gathering
- Responsible for collaborating with Alliant’s IT and system vendors to enhance and improve system functionality
- Lead Credit Bureau Reporting and ensure the organization meets regulatory and compliance requirements
- Responsible for reporting consumer credit information in a fair, timely and accurate manner
- Understand all aspects and requirements of credit reporting and e-Oscar disputes processing
- Monitor and resolve any credit bureau exception or compliance issues regarding CDIA Credit Reporting Metro 2 guidelines
- Create and execute strategy that satisfies regulatory requirements and is within Alliant’s approved risk tolerance with regard to credit reporting and credit disputes
- Identify and drive change to optimize consumer lending to maximize user experience and minimize losses
- Translate operating plans into meaningful direction of projects, goals, priorities and activities; delivering on strategy through quality execution and best practice adaptation
- Capture, analyze, and understand the internal environment, team dynamics, and talent capabilities to address organizational refinement, agility and growth
- Champion Employee/Internal Customer Engagement, employee development and all cultural hallmarks through a strong leadership signature and a growing command of Alliant’s leadership competencies
- Continually assess and provide discerning development, insightful coaching and talent utilization/optimization for direct reports
- Apply High Performance Management practices in leading an engaged workforce in order to effectively leverage the full potential and talent of this function
- Provide a structural and consistent approach to ensure that individual development plans are in place, performance management is consistent, performance management process is respected and followed, and coaching and feedback are provided on a regular and dynamic basis
Qualifications
What makes you a great fit?
You’ll be a great fit if in addition to the completion of Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or other relevant field required, and you have:
- 3+ years’ experience with process design and communication, requirements definition, project management, training, cross-functional collaboration
- Advanced understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the requirements
- Strong analytical skills with regard to evaluating system and process functionality
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet assigned project deadlines in a timely manner
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
