Your role in helping us shape the future:

Intelsat Inflight is taking airlines to new places with our inflight internet experience. Our worldwide inflight Wi-Fi services has made internet and video entertainment a regular part of flying.

 

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers whenever they need to purchase our equipment.  Your main mission is to help us process the incoming demand and then coordinate the movement of those materials, aiming to deliver the right parts, to the right place, at the right time to satisfy our customers.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Process incoming customer supply chain requests like requests for quotes, purchase orders, and return merchandise authorizations (RMA)s
  • Create and release orders to the warehouse to fulfill customer demand
  • Coordinate the preparation, shipment, transportation, and receipt of the material with our operations teams to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide pro-active, accurate and regular updates on all orders, including status changes, tracking information and ETA to internal & external customers
  • Measure and report on-time shipment performance
  • Support deployment of material campaigns and upgrades to airline and maintenance depots

 

Can you drive these processes?

  • Processing orders; managing customer expectations; tracking order status; updating customers

 

You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 1-5 years’ work experience in an ERP / MRP driven environment
  • Ability to listen, discern, and resolve customer issues with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy, detail, and quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Full proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Highly motivated; able to function independently and work as a team member
  • Strong organizational skills

 

It would be nice if you had:

  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a Supply Chain or Customer Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field
