Position Description
This is a fast-paced and multifaceted position.  In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants are relying on Chowly products as a lifeline. Restaurant owners are passionate about their businesses and expect the same energy from their partners. As a full-time Support Specialist, you will work directly with restaurant owners to troubleshoot and diagnose needs via both phone and our support ticketing system. We are looking for a team player who has an eye for detail, is patient, and maintains a solution oriented mindset. Empathetic communication skills are a must.

The nature of this position is ever evolving, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable pivoting and reframing as needed. At this time, the position remains 100% remote with the eventual option to return and join the team in our Chicago Loop office. This position is a phone support heavy role and with the majority of time on shift spent receiving inbound calls. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Managing inbound inquiries and responding in a timely manner. 

  • Developing and maintaining positive professional experiences to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to assess restaurant needs

  • Escalating tickets/calls for further investigation according to internal functions. 

  • Monitoring reactive issues notifications and solving or escalating accordingly.

  • Researching and identifying issues (via phone and email) with customers related to product features, technical problems, and product performance.

  • Taking extensive notes in our CRM tool to streamline communication company-wide.

  • Thrive in an ever changing environment remaining positive, coachable, and organized.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in a customer facing role preferred (in-person or phone customer support) 

  • Flexible availability including ability to work graveyard shifts (6pm to midnight and weekends) 

  • Restaurant experience preferred

  • Previous experience using Salesforce (or similar CRM) preferred

  • Proficient Mac user preferred
