The ESG Strategic Partnerships team works with a variety of f leading third party platforms and index providers in integrating Sustainalytics' suite of research products and services. Our objective is to provide additional value added solutions alongside partner expertise in order to further enhance ESG workflows across the investment decision making process. POSITION PURPOSE
The Strategic Partnership team is seeking a manager/associate director role to act as a coordinator between Sustainalytics internal teams and third-party strategic partner and will continue to build and manage these key relationships. The role will focus on working with internal stakeholders around the support and product education of our third-party index partners. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of ESG growth story.
This position allows one to obtain a thorough understanding of how ESG factors can be implemented into investor analytics & indexes across their workflows. Work involves working in a cross-cultural environment, quickly assume new responsibilities and challenges, and become a company representative with internal and external clients.
Job Responsibilities• Support a regional relationship strategy for third party index & platform. relationships in close coordination with Sustainalytics strategic partnership team• Manage Sustainalytics relationships and strategic cooperation with third party third party strategic partners.• Contribute to expanding client workflows through collaboration with strategic partnerships.• Work with internal teams around the education of third-party partners.• Occasional travel to meet with internal teams & external clients.
Qualifications• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the market data area including indexing, data management and data platforms.• Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences) or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience;• Keen understanding and monitoring of market developments as it relates to data distribution and fin tech trends• Strong understanding of information flow across the investment landscape• Strong analytical and quantitative skills• Openness to developing strong understanding of ESG application• Strong project leadership skills, able to work well in a cross-functional team environment• Ability to work successfully in a global, diverse and multi-cultural environment• Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience presenting to large audiences• Self-motivated and able to work independently• Experience developing and executing an implementation plan for relationships and strategic cooperation with third party platform providers is considered an asset.• Alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision and values

Every day is a little different. Our team is focused on POC (Proof of Concepts). My work involves problem-solving, development and software design. I work on the Data collections team, currently most of this involves, on a high level, automating the process currently used to collect data from raw sources through Machine Learning.
