What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, adult learning, finance or the equivalent 

3+ years direct experience in designing and developing training materials and content to include online/e-learning modules, instructor-led materials, job aids, online tutorials, multimedia products (video, graphic, audio), and other training materials

Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance 

Experience leveraging learning management systems and/or other content delivery platforms (e.g. Captivate)

Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and challenges; consult with the partner to develop solutions to address these areas

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and balance thought with action while getting the most out of limited resources

Flexible work hours in order to accommodate special meeting requests, trainings and demonstrations for customers in different time zones

Advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing – in English and the local office language(s) throughout all levels of an organization.

Ability to effectively work remotely

Availability for some overnight travel

We'd Love to See:

Master’s degree in Adult Learning, Training & Development or a related field

Fraud management or identity and access management experience

Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, or Japanese 

Impact You'll Make

As a Training & Development Specialist for the Global Fraud Solutions group at TransUnion you play a key role in our company by designing, developing, writing and delivering effective training programs aimed at increasing knowledge and proficiency of cross-functional teams. You will collaborate with business leaders to identify needs, establish learning objectives and provide accurate and effective learning solutions as well as anticipate business training needs based on QA findings, trainee comprehension, system modifications, etc. Training that goes beyond strict product feature/functionality to focus on how the solutions fit together to help solve business challenges faced by our customers and how our teams work to support our customers is critical as we expand offerings and grow.

A successful candidate will:

Perform needs assessments – consult and partner with management, supervisors and employees through a variety of channels (surveys, interviews, group sessions, informal) to analyze and isolate the cause(s) of performance gaps and determining the most appropriate solution to close performance gaps (training or other performance support solutions), and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, strategies and technologies. 

Prioritize work – understand and communicate priorities while meeting deadlines.

Plan and implement training assignments – develop action/project plans, obtain resources, and complete assignments in a timely manner to ensure that workplace learning and performance goals are achieved. 

Instructional Design – Select, design, or partner in the design of the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, and technologies to maximize learning. 

Presentation and Instructional skills – lead a class and train participants on a specific topic. Facilitation skills – Facilitate group discussions, activities, brainstorming and debrief sessions.

Measure and evaluate – Partner with the business to ensure the course objectives have a positive impact on the skill gap. 

Partner with Instructional Designers in the designing of surveys and gather data to analyze the impact of learning within in the classroom. 

Administrative – coordinate training schedules, registrations, and invitations. Maintain LMS training records, rosters, and reports. 

Creates and maintains course content, manuals, or other training materials. 

Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted. 

Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs).

Design and develop appropriate training materials and professional development courses. Facilitate interactive and engaging training programs for classroom, virtual classroom and online. Deliver on all stages of a project from start-up to finish within the established timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects to successful completion.

Content Creation, Delivery and Assessments: Develop training across multiple formats, which include eLearning, instructor and virtual instructor led assets to support our global audience. Ensure adult learning principles and systematic instructional design are applied to create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner. Assess the impact of training and measure knowledge retention.

Team Player: Effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives and other individuals or organizations to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts for any given training project.

Diverse Perspective: Brings a unique skillset or approach to the table in every customer engagement or internal activity.
